    Central Fish bar is most probably the most popular fish and chip shop in Newmarket. Situated in the heart of the Rookery shopping centre, it has a take away bar and also has a small eat in section.
    The take away bar gets very busy, mostly in the eveninngs and on weekends. They do a wide range if fish, as well as pies, and chips and pickled items. They have lots of friendly staff. Waiting times can be a short while, as everything is done from fresh, so if fish has only just been put in you will have to wait.
    The eat in section isnt very big, there arent too many tables so try and avoid the busy periods. There isnt much room to make your way round, so if you have a pram its best to stay near the front.
    Central Fish Bar has won awards for its food, so its a great place to eat!

    Unbelievably overpriced food. Company definitely knows its the only fish and chip shop which is why they charge £7.00 for fish and chips. R
